For three days in September fellow runners, walkers, and supporters will step up to support our fallen heroes by participating or sponsoring three unique events for one vital cause. Round 2 of our "Maine Event" on September 10th in Patten ME, will be followed by our Walk4Valor and Run4Life events on Long Island on September 17th and 18th. Net proceeds from all events directly support initiatives that assist veterans and their families in crisis and provide scholarships for military children, veterans, and their spouses. Supporters can choose to join National Guard Officer, Major Charles J. Sanders, as he treks the village of Greenport, NY, Run a 5K in Veterans Memorial Park in Wading River NY, or Run/Walk the scenic streets of Patten, Maine with retired Army Command Sergeant Major, Steve Curtis. The Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation is proud to bring needed awareness to the servicemen and women who tragically take their lives and for the more than 200,000 annually who try. Through a special alliance with Mission Roll Call, a non-partisan advocacy group, we will now provide Veterans a unified voice that is heard by our nation's leaders.
