Marc P. Palker, CMA, MBA, RTRP, has spent over 30 years in senior financial management positions with small and midsized public and private companies.

Marc is the Principal of MPP Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in CFO services, special projects and tax. Marc held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Dataram Corporation in Princeton, New Jersey. From 2010 to 2013 Marc was a Director of CFO Consulting Partners, LLC, a boutique consulting firm specializing in C-Suite performance. He was involved in SEC reporting, SOX implementation and maintenance, GAAP consulting, systems design and implementation and mergers and acquisitions due diligence. He has assisted numerous public companies with their initial compliance of the Sarbanes Oxley Act and designed cost efficient maintenance programs for them to stay in compliance. He has been the Chief Financial Officer of several public companies on Long Island. His experience also includes privately held companies and family owned businesses.

Marc’s professional associations include the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), where he held the position of Global Board Chair 2016-2017 and current is Chair Emeritus and Chair of the Volunteer Leadership Committee. He also serves on the nominating Committee and the Governance Committee. Previously he served as National Vice President, National Director and National Committee Chair. Marc joined the Global Board of Directors of IMA on July 1, 2011 for a two year term. Recently his term has been extended to June 30, 2019. Marc is also a Past President of the Accountant/Attorney Networking Group (AANG) on Long Island and has served as the Treasurer of the Huntington Arts Council.

Marc has a BS in Accounting from Rider University and an MBA in Finance from St. John’s University. Marc is also a Certified Management Accountant and Registered Tax Return Preparer. He is a member of the IMA Speakers Bureau and has lectured for the IMA at numerous colleges and universities on general accounting and SEC topics. He has served as a Director of numerous Not for Profits.
